Congratulations Jen, your wedding will be published on A Paper Proposal this Spring

While Jen and Michael drove up for the engagement session at St John’s Bridge (check out here) the wedding itself was to be held 5 hours south, in Medford, OR. It was a beautiful crisp day and Bianca (my faithful second shooter) and I woke up ready for action.

I love when my brides put us up in cozy accommodations, and these were perfect and close to the wedding location at Pacifica Gardens.

Michael was getting ready at the house, so we caught his details there and headed to the wedding location for the brides prep. Beautiful sweet Jen was looking as happy as a spring rose and was grinning as she showed us around while finishing up her makeup. I don’t know how all those girls fit into that dressing room, but they emerged beautiful. Dresses from Anthropologie to Jcrew and each perfectly matched with the ladies personality.

No sun can intimidate these darlings.

First Dance

Everyone was crying.

I will never forget you flash dancing with you Uncle, huge surprise!

What better time for a photo shoot than a frigid January morning? Before my hands were so numb I couldn’t feel my trigger, Katie, Adam and my assistant Ashley (brave souls) trudged around, catching these happy moments.

Using a fun technique called, “prisming” popularized by one of my photo heroes – Sam Hurd. And Hello Sun flare. 

My ode to Rodney Smith, I will never forget the time I studied with him in New York.

So fierce Katie, love it!
