How To Make Your Hair Grow Faster!
Number one myth about hair: Trimming it will make it grow faster!
This is not only false its crazy! Your hair is dead the second it grows out of your scalp! So no matter what you do to it on the outside, it will not effect whats going on at the root!
I tell you honestly and truthfully that the only thing that helps your hair grow faster is all internal!
So you want to make your hair grow faster?
you are still in control and you don’t have to cut it! i have one simple word for you….
PROTEIN !!!!!
Eat it, drink it, bathe in it, breathe it, however you must get it in your body! : )
If your body is not healthy then neither is your hair! Unhealthy hair means slow growth….and that’s it!
Protein Suggestions:
Eggs, Meat, Beans, Greens, Protein bars/shakes…..just make sure you’re getting ALL your vitamins!
Remember and spread the word!!
Although trimming your hair may help it appear healthier as it grows,
it WILL NOT MAKE IT GROW!!!
hahahaha what a break through

p.s. Prenatal vitamins work wonders!!

Most people have a certain length past which their hair simply will not grow any longer. This is generally due to the weight of their hair. Sometimes trimming DOES help hair grow longer because spilt ends can weigh down hair unnecessarily.

Thanks, Maresah! I love your tips and advice…especially this one. I was one of the trim-to-make-it-grow-faster people. I’m going to have to try protein! And prenatal vitamins? really?? Where can you get them, and how do you convince your parents you’re just trying to make your hair healthy when they ask why you’re taking prenatal vitamins? Hmmmm lol! Thanks again!

Very interesting! I’ve always thought my hair grows really fast but I eat a lot of protein so that may be why… I recently got my hair cut into a bob just brushing my collar bone and I know by summer it will be past my shoulders again! I love your posts, Maresah!

Coincidentally, I have been growing my hair out since July! Since I’m going from a long bob to (hopefully) chest-length hair, I obviously have a long ways to go. While I knew that trimming would not help my hair grow faster, I was excited to hear your insight on what things will make it grow quicker! Thanks! I’m going in for a haircut on Monday (not to take off any length but to clean up the sad layers that are driving me nuts), so I’ll start using your advice to renew my hair growth.
Thanks for the practical posts!

ooh cool! I had no idea thanks so much, I mean I knew you needed protein for your hair but I didn’t know it would help it grow faster, I was always told that it wouldn’t, my hair grow really fast anyway so I can’t imagine how fast it would grow if I ate more protein!:)

Hi! I used to have hair down to my thighs from growing it out for 10+ years. Trimming is important when you grow out yr hair because it removes the split ends. Split ends can split pretty far up and it weakens your hair so that the hairs are more likely to break off while brushing or drying. So even though it doesn’t make your hair grow faster, your hair may get longer faster than it would without since the hairs wont break off. And I’ve been taking prenatal pills on and off since my early 20’s. They may or may not make your hair grow faster and your nails stronger, I didn’t really notice a big difference.
