Vintage Modern
This is cute, really cute. The blouse is a bit low, (on me, it would not be modest).
Like it? Hate it ?
The long feminine skirt is anchored by the bold geometric stripes on top. I think the mix of the vintage skirt and contemporary pattern is dynamic. To bring it into Fall, I would add a blazer and pumps.

I don’t think the geometric stripes on the shirt would look real good on me-definitely on someone else-but the skirt is cuuuuuute!

I think it’s cute but I defenitely would not wear a skirt that length! I wear skirts at the longest just past my knees. For me being that I’m only in my teens I would find that skirt to be dowdy on myself. But I love <3 the top and the shoes are very cute! I agree that it would be nice for fall with a blazer and pumps but it could also be cute with a little cardigan and boots!

I love it! I think I could pull it off too, if the shirt were not so high. I don’t ussually go for the geometric shapes, but this one, I like. And the skirt is lovely and so feminine!
A question, I’ve been trying to convince my hairdressers(s) to cut my hair with bangs similar to the ones in the picture above, but they insist that one must have a very high forehead to do such a thing. Any opinions?

Oops, of course I meant, “if the shirt were not so LOW” in the above comment.

I love the cut of the blouse, excluding the low cut. The skirt it really cute, love the bow. The shoes are great, I personally can’t wear high heels, as I trip very easily. :0D (But being a teen, I’m in the awkward growing age.) Wow, to the hair cut, it’s amazing.
Hey, do you think you could adress hair in a future post? I have really wave/poofy hair and would love some tips to control it.

I too love the skirt… though I’m not sure I’m brave enough for those geometric prints… let alone small enough. Unfortunately, those statement pieces tend to accentuate lumps, of which I have many!

I LOVE this outfit, minus how low the top is. I’d definitely wear it… I’m short (only 5′2″) so I probably wouldn’t go much longer than this on the skirt, but this seems just about right.
Alison, I had bangs like this before. I have a fairly normal forehead I suppose, and I really liked them! I only let them grow back out because I’m disgustingly low maintenance when it comes to my haircuts, so going back in every three weeks for a bang trim was simply unreasonable for me! hahaha…
I’d say give it a try! My hairdresser has questioned what I said I wanted before, but she did it anyways and she was always pleasantly surprised! lol

Very Cute! I think that the skirt length on the model is also quite cute.

Top, no. But the skirt is adorable. In my browsings through CT designs there is a lack of skirts with drape and flow like this one. Not only are they the most comfortable and most feminine, but also the most versatile!
And Rebecca, that skirt doesn’t go much past her knees! There isn’t a rule anywhere that says a teen girl can’t enjoy a long, flowing skirt. Refusing to go longer than the knees severely limits your options.

I love the skirt, but the shirt isn’t my style.

The skirt is way too cute!! I like the style of the shirt, but I don’t really go for all the geometric stripe-thingeys. Very cute, though, overall!!

love the skirt!

Uh, I’m not a big fan of the outfit. The skirts is kind of a weird length, but the material looks cool.

I love the skirt - and I don’t mind the geometric top except that it reminds me of zebra print, which would never work for me.
I like the silhouette (shape, cut, etc., with the neckline caveat of course
) taken as a whole - it’s wonderful! - especially with the shoes!

Wow, I love this outfit! The high waist skirt with a tucked-in shirt is something I NEVER thought I would/could do, but I’ve actually been getting into it. Of course, it has to be done just right to avoid geekiness, but I’ve found that whenever an outfit has a retro/vintage vibe, it usually works. The shirt is so different from anything I generally wear, but I am in love with it too. Gorgeous!

I agree, the shirt is low. But, under shirt right? I mean (..most ppl call ‘em:) Cami…

The skirt is SOO amazing. So pretty! I love everything about it. I would rather that I came with a different shirt though. I mean even if you made the neckline a little higher I still don’t really like the pattern.

I like the look overall. I would def wear the top. Maybe with skinny jeans and a long trench coat. Heels too.
I do not like the skirt. Too long.
