It started with Stripes
Sometimes your dresses become like dear friends, well this dress is exactly that.
In all started with two girlfriends…
In Junior high we used to buy matching shirts for our birthday every year. As we got older matching shirts weren’t so easy to find to fit our different body types (and let’s face it, it wasn’t so cute anymore: ). On our last attempt, our 16th birthday, we were near frantic- we couldn’t find a single top that matched our criteria. It was just when we were about to give up our birthday tradition, when we saw it. The cutest blue and white striped dress you’ve ever seen. It fit, and to this day I can’t wear that dress without a feeling of exuberance coming with it.
So here we are, still matching, and still loving it. (we do call each other to make sure we aren’t wearing the same dress to the same party! Yikes!)

Never have I received so many compliments as when I wear that dress. Rumor has it- you’ll get them too.
In honor of all long-lasting friendships, we’ve called it the “Best friend Shirtdress”.
From it’s pointed collar to it’s flattering tie waist, and appropriate length- it will become a closet favorite, guaranteed.

When does it come out? It looks like it will possibly fit my criteria, as well as passing that little “daddy test” I mentioned before…

I’m not sure how this is different from what I can find elsewhere. I’ve even seen longer shirtdress for sale elsewhere. For modesty’s sake, and I’m not even close to being a prude, I would think you’d have the dress be a few inches past the knee’s. What’s up with that? You market yourselves as being a modesty clothing line, yet your dress doesn’t even go past the knee.

Everyone has their own modesty standards, I guess. . .I think the dresses pictured are OH SO ADORABLE.

The dresses are adorable! I looked at the version being sold, and I would like it if it were at least an inch longer, though. Especially because if a dress like that shrinks just a little bit, it makes a big difference.
I love the colour! The fall line is beautiful. =)

We’re so glad you ladies like the dress! Very encouraging!
For those who brought up the length, thank you! We value your input and will definitely keep that in consideration as we finalize our spring line.

I love the fall line, Christa! The dresses are amazing!

I do have some problems with your dresses. They are adorable, but I can’t wear dresses unless they are past my knee! Can’t you have a wider selection of longer dresses such as your orchid weave dress? Just a thought.

Have you considered using a more average sized model? The dress seemed short to me till I saw that your model is 5′11. I am not that tall so it would probably be past my knees. Usually my minimum is 25″ from waist.

I second what Hannah said!!

its very cute,I love the bright blue, its one of my best colors!:D
it might be nice to have it hit a few inches below the knee, that way if shrinks or when you sit down or whatever its fine and plus I just think a little below the knee looks elegant.
its really cute though, I wouldent change a thing other that.

I’m so excited to see that someone is filling this niche! Thank you for pulling together a line of clothing that is not only modest, but also cute and fashionable. Way to go! I can’t believe how many adorable things you have! I want to order them all!
(Btw, I like the length of the dress. I wouldn’t have it changed!)

I LOVE shirtdresses too! My fantasy wardrobe would include at least 10 of them in different colors. As a singer and speaker, I’m always looking for stylish, modest dresses, and yours looks like it would fit the bill!
