[…] There are some pretty swell designs Check them out: CT Fashion blog […]

  2. Anne Says:

    I vote the Ava.
It has an adorable class to it, perfect for an evening, yet casual enough for the daily outings.
It would look great on almost any figure. I would however, try it in a different color. Green doesn’t flatter everyone.

  3. Caitlin Says:

I vote for the AVA. I like them all but this one seems like you could really wear in anywear and have that timeless, modest, “wow”. I also think that a different colot might be nice, but the green, in the right shade, would still look really nice. Price? Well not more then $75. But Im from the midwest and Im told we spend less on things sometimes then rest of the country. :)

  4. April Says:

I like the Ava! Cute, modest and still stylish. Would be neat to have a few different colors to choose from though. =)

  5. Hannah L. Says:

I vote Ava as well. I like the calf-length skirt, the high-ish waist, and the pretty neckline.

  6. Ellie Says:

oooh, I vote for the Ava! I love the neckline…and I can never seem to find dresses that have it. The length is especially appealing. I’m always looking for a dress that’s in between the “maxi dress” and the “above the knee” dress. THIS DRESS IS PERFECT!!!

  7. Megan Says:

I love all of these dresses - and I love the vintage-inspired looks they’re all going for. I think the Ava is especially versatile, and I love the dreamy skirt and slender waist :)

  8. Ellie Says:

Oops, forgot to add one thing: I wouldn’t pay over $60 for this dress (or any, for that matter). :)

  9. Kay Says:

The only problem that I have with this dress is that it very closely resembles the Sabrina. It’s almost identical. The only reason that I am voting for it, is because it’s the only one that I would wear out. I would not pay more than 25-30 dollars for this dress. I also would NOT buy it in green. Definately coral, periwinkle, or lilac.
    Anyway,
    Kay♫

  10. Amy Says:

Love the Ava! The neckline is perfect and I like the bias skirt. Ava gets my vote!

  11. Kay Says:

I forgot to say the name of the dress. The Ava, of course.
    ~Kay

  12. K Says:

I’d buy this in a heartbeat! It definitely gets my vote.

I love that neckline, and it’s hard to find, plus green is a great color for me. Bias skirts are so flattering on everyone. I hope this dress wins!

  13. Elena Says:

I vote for the Ava because it is simply beautiful :) It really could be worn anywhere, be dressed up or down with effortless style, and would always look wonderfully pretty and femiline. My favourite feature: the neckline. I’ve often drawn dresses with similar necklines, but never have I seen one in real life.

  14. anne Says:

“…lace about the neck and sleeves…” what sleeves??

  15. Laura Says:

I love this one! the neck line and skirt length are beautiful. I also love the green!

  16. Holly Says:

I really like the Ava, although I wouldn’t choose this color. Maybe a classic black-and-white design or a bright color like turquoise, melon or pink? The green is too dark and heavy. Maybe solid white or solid black would be best. I love the lace and the elegance this dress projects, as well as its versatility - it would be appropriate for the office, church, date night, bridal shower, etc. Also - I would keep the price as low as possible. $29-32 would be best in this crazy economy!!

  17. Kay Says:

I just read my comments from last night and I changed my mind. I’d buy it in green ;)!
I don’t know what was wrong with me last night. I guess I was just tired. I really do love this dress!
    ~Kay

  18. keri Says:

    Great dress!

  19. Debbie Says:

I vote Ava! Such a simple feminine silhouette. And the lace adds a nice touch.

  20. Kat Says:

total tie between ava and sea grass. and i’d prefer not to pay over $50.

  21. Denae Says:

I vote Ava. I agree with Kay. It’s close to the Sabrina dress. I wouldn’t buy it for more then 45, but then I’m really cheap.(=

  22. Meghan Says:

I vote for the AVA dress. Its design is simple yet elegant and could easily be dressed up or down. It also would flatter any body type.
    I absolutely love this dress!

  23. Krista Says:

My favorite dress out of the five is the Ava. I like that the dress falls below the knee (which is very important for us tall ladies); and the little bit of flair to the bottom of the skirt. I also like the look of the neckline, a nice middle of the road: not to high, not too low. Something you can wear a necklace with. I would love to see this dress is a more earthy color palette; perhaps with the waist portion having a sash in a contrasting color. A gentle print fabric would be pretty as well. I would consider this dress if it were in the price range of $40-$60, but closer to $40 would be fantastic!

  24. Kylie Says:

I vote the Ava. I believe it’s a flattering cut for many different shaped women. It’s a dressy-casual paradox that fits many events. I love the green as well. I would love to add more green in my wardrobe! I wouldn’t spend over $60…I haven’t spent over $60 on any dress except my wedding dress (and bridesmaids dresses!)

    It’s a gorgeous style!

  25. Sarah@Prayerfuldrivenlife Says:

I love the Ava! The black and the cinched waist are fabulous! I see this as a great dress for evening dates with my husband, going to a movie, church and numerous other options. Yes, I could see myself wearing it instead of jeans!
I would pay around $20-$30 for a dress, unless it is for a special occasion. It is a nice green I would need to see an actual picture of it in that green to know if I would buy it in that color though. I am already partial to it in black and possible white, gray is my new favorite color as well, that would be nice too.

  26. Monique C. Says:

I would vote for this dress. I love green color, it look really good on the dress! I would like to buy it and wear to Celtic Thunder concert! :) I am sure that green dress would look perfect good on any girl/women.
Yeah, I’d buy it under $50 or more less.

  27. G. J. Phillips Says:

I’d love to see the Ava in lots of colors, both bold and neutral. What a darling to dress up and down! As for the prices, I’m afraid I’d have to buy it on sale. ;-)

  28. Jennifer Says:

I vote for the Ava. I love the color and the silhouette. It definitely reminds me of a 50s or 60s style of dress.

  29. Kirsten Erin Says:

I voted for Periwinkle. But in case this one doesn’t win- there is a similiarly cut dress at Ross right now for anyone who would like to check that out.
It cost me $60 but it was definitely worth it because you can dress it up or down- but look nice the entire time. I wore mine with gray tennis shoes last night :)

  30. SarahJayne Says:

I vote Ava! It’s beautiful for every day, and would be stunning in the evening with a light scarf. The shape is good too. Green is pretty, but offering it in other colors would be great - like and ice blue! :) As to price, I don’t know that I would spend more than $50, but I’m kind of cheap. ;)

  31. RachelElizabeth Says:

I really like the Periwinkle. It would be a great summer dress for any formal event!

  32. Olivia Says:

I vote for Ava. Beautiful dress that would personally be the most flattering out of all the finalists. I think it also seems the most comfortable and casual while yet still very classy and feminine. It seems like it would be lightweight and easy to move around in and all together it’s a beautiful dress.

It would be lovely if you were to have a few different color options available. Also, I personally am very cheep when it comes to clothing and would probably never buy something over $50. (And thinking about it, I’ve only done that once… and that was a dress for a wedding…)

  33. Lauren Says:

I have to say the Ava–it’s beautiful! The one improvement I would make would be a little wider sleeves, but I love the crochet trim! I love the detail at the waist–that would be pretty in a contrasting color. I would spend $40 on this dress.

  34. Sarah Says:

Although I looove the Periwinkle–it’s adorable–the Ava wins for me by a tiny margin, because it seems like it could be dressed up or down, where the Periwinkle seems much dressier.

  35. Elisabeth Says:

I definitely vote for Ava! it’s so my style. The little bit of lace is perfect and I like the wide neck. I wouldn’t pay more that $35 for any dress, honestly. But I’d love to have an actual pattern of this and make it myself :D

  36. Laura Says:

This is my favorite of the Dream Dresses, although I do think all five are lovely. I actually think that this dress is pretty versatile and could be suitable for evenings out or a day on the town. The type of fabric and color are what make it so, in my opinion. Probably it would be good to have another colorway or two, but it’s so nice to see classically cut dresses that aren’t basic black. I think it would be reasonable to spend $60-$75 on this dress.

  37. kelly Says:

I like the Ava the best.
I don’t usually buy my clothes new, and so I’m not sure how much I would pay for it, but I love the neckline and the tough of lace at the top. I also love low-knee to mid- calf length skirts and dresses and I think this one would be beautiful.

  38. Erika Says:

I vote the AVA, and I’m glad to see I’m not alone.
First of all the design automatically caught my eye: it is fashionable, fun, modest, modern, and you could wear it casually or dress it up! Plus it’s green and that is a very neutral color for different skin-colors. It woule look great on many body types (including mine!). I would love to buy it, but will admit I probably wouldn’t pay more than high $30s or low $40s for it, but iI hope that doesn’t stop you from selling it!

  39. Diana Says:

I like the Ava the best - I love that time period design.

  40. Rachel Clarke Says:

I love this dress! (the Ava) I do think a different color might be good though. But I’m no expert, so I think those who are should choose which one. :) This is definately my favorite. :)

  41. Christine Says:

    I vote the Ava.
I love the neckline, its details, and the color too. I think it would be very flattering.
It would be nice if it came in more than one length.

  42. Elissa Says:

I vote for the Ava! I love the flow of the skirt, the color, and the sleeves. I would pay maybe 30 dollars for this dress.

  43. Ruth Says:

I am lovin’ me some Ava! Too, too cute :) I would pay somewhere in the neighborhood of $50-75 for for this dress. Would love to see it in black, navy, green and that hard-to-describe, but gorgeous Spring Seafoam color (KWIM).
All of the entries are so cute, but this one is just so appealing for grab and go with some casual flats and a colorful handbag for day, and strappy heels, pearls/ or your favorite go-to accesory and a great clutch for the evening.

  44. Arielle Says:

I vote for the Ava!! I think the neckline is very feminine, along with the lace along the edges. Not so sure I’d buy a dress in that color though. I think a light and pretty feminine color would be nice!

  45. Megan C. Says:

I vote the Ava. It was hard to pick between this and Sea Glass, but this one is a bit more versatile, plus I absolutely adore the green, and never see it in stores.

  46. Megan C. Says:

OK, I feel so silly right now, but I’d like to take back my vote.

  47. Kay Says:

I know I’ve already commented, but I just thought it would be nice to note that while alot of people on here would be willing to pay up to $75 for a dress, some of us gals (or their father or husbands) wouldn’t be able to pay those kinds of prices. I am one of eight children, five of whom are girls. It would be really expensive if we bought one of anything for each girl on this site. I am not yet able to find a dress that I like with a price my father likes. I love this dress, but I have a feeling it will be really expensive. Why is it that modesty has to come at such a high price??? I, myself, can’t afford it because I don’t have a paying job and I’m trying to earn up enough money to get the laptop I’ve been wanting forever. Is there some way you could offer this dress at a reasonable price for us not as well off girls? I would really appreciate it.
    ~Kay
P.S. I really like this green color. ;)

  48. Sara Says:

I vote for the Ava. It is classic, flattering and versatile. I ADORE the color! I could see it being worth $85, but I would/could only pay around $35.

(Also *thank you* for the strap holders!)

  49. Bracie Says:

I vote for this one because I love the neckline. But it doesn’t seem very everyday to moi.

  50. Rebekah Says:

I love this style, but I’m not a fan of the green color. Instead, I would make the dress in a dark maroon, light airy gray, or a brighter green, like an emerald color.

  51. Lady Katie Says:

Definitely the Ava…I would wear this dress everyday if it were in a blue - toned color - Most people are winters in coloring and could not wear the green.
This is a genius design, it would make the most of just about any body type. Personally, I would pay up to a hundred for this dress if it were made in a quality flowing fabric. This could be a truly iconic dress. I seem to be in the minority as far as willingness to pay for quality…have you considered doing two versions, one in a cheaper fabric, and one in a quality jersey blend?
The only other mention I would make concerns the length - personally I don’t wear knee length dresses, for aesthetic reasons, not modesty ones. I would wear this only if reached at least beyond the widest part of the calf…And I run about 110 lbs soaking wet :)

  52. Becka Says:

    Ohhhhh, the AVA!!!
I love the fitted waist and how simple and elegant the design is…
Would like to see it in black as well….pricing is hard seeing how I’m on a budget; I can’t see paying more than $35.

  53. Serena Says:

I vote for Ava. It’s beautiful and classic, and would flatter so many figures.

  54. Tracy Says:

I vote for the Ava! What a clean, classic design. It would be lovely for a day out shopping, or dinner out with my Beloved ~ he walked by as I was looking, and Ava gets his vote too! ;-)

  55. Ashley Says:

I LOVE the Ava! The style of this dress is my favorite! And I like the idea of having “strap holders” for your bra. I always wished that modern dresses had this option like they used to; as it is very useful to keeping everything in place. So Ava gets my vote!

  56. YayaOrchid Says:

What a beautiful dress! I vote for the AVA!! Love the dainty, feminine crochet accent!

  57. Lissie Darcy Says:

I already voted for the Periwinkle.

But I wanted to say I liked the green you chose for the dress. I liked the dress all in all. But I don’t think you’d run to the store in this kind of dress. And I don’t think it’d work on all body shapes.

  58. Molly Marie Says:

I vote for the Ava. It has the cutest classic style that I adore, and the little lace at the neck is a sweet touch that’s not overdone. I think it’s the best of the lot because it is simple enough to be worn on an average day yet very elegant. I could imagine paying around $55 for this dress.

  59. Angela Says:

I vote for the Ava. I would totally buy a dress like it!

  60. Keri M. Says:

I vote the Ava because it looks very versatile - one of those dresses where the right pair of shoes and/or jewelry could dress it up or down depending on the occasion!

  61. MrsJDT Says:

My vote is definitely for the Ava. It looks like it would translate beautifully into either an everyday dress or a formal dress, depending on the fabric. Simple but stunning. Feminine and dainty without being over the top. Gotta love it! :)

  62. Jessica Says:

I vote for the Ava. It’s simple and streamlined, and it looks light and breezy! A perfect summer dress.

  63. Lily Says:

I vote for the Ava!!! It is my absolute favorite out of the five dresses and I think it is perfect! I hope it wins!!!

  64. Stephanie Says:

I am voting for Ava! i love it because it is simple, and classical. it has beautiful lines. green is just lovely. and the neckline is just wonderful! yay for strap holders!

  65. Lily Says:

The Ava is without a doubt the most lovely dress among the finalists!! I love the color, length, style…I too would not be able to pay the high prices you mentioned…it would be so cool if you could make it a bit more affordable, but either way, this dress gets my complete vote! So cute!!!

  66. Andrea Says:

I vote for “The Ava.” It has a very flattering and feminine sillhouette. It’s simple enough that it could be worn casually during the day but sophisticated enough that it could be dressed up with pearls and pretty shoes for evening.

  67. Grace Says:

I like the AVA because it seems fit for so many different occasions. I would definitly wear it instead of jeans. I think it’s worth $50 but probably not more. It would look amazing in a vintage stripe, with the bias cut straight on the waist, for contrast.

This dress is very pretty! I love it!

  68. Johanna Says:

Oh! I love the Ava! I love the vintage simplicity of the waist and the bias cut skirt. Oh, and the buttons in the back are thrilling! I love them! IF only it were hanging in my closet right now… :D My vote definitely goes to the lovely Ava. I can just see it with a darling little apron too!

The green is quite lovely, but I think I would prefer a small, vintage print, or light blue. (it is just my own personal choice though:))

  69. Sarah H Says:

I think the Ava is adorable!
It is a dress that I would spend $50 on (not more then that because I have never spent even that much money on any peice of clothing in my life) and love wearing. I think this is a timeless look that can be made to look modern or classic, dressed up or down, and I think it is a flattering look on most body types.
    Very classy, very cute. :)

  70. Ellen Says:

I vote for the Ava… but what a hard choice! I was torn between this and the Sea Glass. I would really like this in a lavender plum purple, with off-white lace for a vintage look. Sorry, but I wouldn’t buy it in pine green.

  71. shannon Says:

Classic! Lovely! The Ava gets my vote!

  72. Pearl Bellamy Says:

This AVA dress would have looked so-o-o- good on me 57 years ago. I love it!

  73. Sylvia Says:

I would love a dress like this! :)

  74. Abbe Says:

I vote for Ava! Fabulous job Miss Emma.
I would pay $50+ on this dress. It would be worth it.

Any color would look good with this style, but I would love to see maybe a dark red or navy.

  75. Beth Says:

I vote for the ava! Its very casual, yet when you add jewerly it can become formal. The hunter green would be gorgeous!

  76. Sarah Says:

I vote the AVA. I absolutely love the boat-style neck, and this dress would definitely flatter almost any body shape.

  77. Joelle Says:

I really like this one. It is fun, all season wear, depending of color and fabric. I love the old school style and feminine touches. This one defiantly gets my vote

  78. Kelly Says:

I vote fro the Ava because its simple but still very elegant and pretty. I would love to wear it.
