Swimsuits

It’s that time of year again. Break out the swimwear for all those hot days spent in the water. While you’re trying to find something that doesn’t reveal all, you will also want to consider these tips for body types.
Straight - Little definition between bust, hips and waist.
Detailing on the waist or hips such as a wrap style that will help with figure definition.
Pear - Smaller bust, rounded hips and defined waist.
Top detailing, such as an empire waist seam will draw eyes up away from hips and create a waist line definition that will be the most flattering. Texture also makes you appear more balanced, skirts or shorts are especially good.
Hourglass - Bust and hips in equal proportions, with defined waist.
Don’t be shy! All styles look great on you!
Spoon - Full bust, small hips and waist.
Look for swimsuits with wide straps, high backs and high cut necklines. A solid top with printed bottoms is your best bet to emphasize hips and create definition.
Apple - Full bust, narrow hips and average waist.
Boatneck and racerback swimsuits visibly create the illusion of broader shoulders for a more-balanced figure! Go for dark solids all around, and a detailed top with darker bottoms are an especially great choice!

THE one and only Christa Taylor! Wow, really impressive!
I just got a swimsuit today. I don’t know whether I got the most flattering of styles, but it is flattering and modest, and just what I was looking for, so I am happy!

where is your favorite place to buy shoes?

Christa, Hi, I don’t know if you’ll get this because of the fact that it’s january & I’m posting about swimsuits on a post from April, but . . .
I liked looking at your clothes & they’ve got great style! So, I don’t think I’m going too much out on a limb here with a request:
Wouldn’t it be awesome for you to design a vintage looking suit to include in your line? Personally, I have always kept an eye out in the stores to see a suit that would remotely resemble something from the 1940’s. I have never had any luck.
I would be the FIRST to buy your 1940’s suit! - - - You know: the ones that seemed to be a little risque back then, but today would be incredibly modest.
Thanks, Natalie
